2018 has entered dynamically for real estate


An increase of 64% has been recorded in the real estate sales in the first month of 2018, making an optimistic start at the beginning of the year.

According to the Department of Lands and Surveys, the deeds submitted to the District Land Offices in January 2018, amounted to 695 compared to 423 in the corresponding month of 2017, recording an increase of 64%.

 In Famagusta area, 48 sales documents were filed in the first month of this year, compared to 21 in the first month of last year, with a growth rate of 129%.

 A percentage of 32.3% or 225 deeds have been filed in Limassol, which continues to hold the lead in sales. In Limassol, sales amounted to 225 this January compared to 132 in January 2017, with an increase up to 70%.

 Paphos is coming next with 164 sales and a 71% increase over the first month of 2017.  In Larnaca 112 deeds of sales have been filed in January 2018 against 102 in the same month of 2017, an increase of 10%.

 Last but not least, in Nicosia the sales grew by 103%, reaching 146 in January 2018 compared to 72 in the same month last year.
