The real estate market in Famagusta has kicked off 2026 on a high note, with property sales showing significant growth compared to January 2025.
According to official data from the Department of Lands and Surveys, 69 sales contracts were registered in Famagusta in January 2026, marking a 23% increase from the 56 contracts recorded in the same month last year.
This notable rise highlights the continued demand for properties in the region, making Famagusta an attractive destination for both investors and private buyers. The upward trend reinforces optimism for the local property market, which appears to maintain solid momentum despite broader economic conditions.
Famagusta’s performance mirrors the general positive trend seen across Cyprus, signaling a promising start to the year for the island’s real estate sector.
